On medical prescription
Most nursing care is provided on your doctor's prescription. The prescription is what allows your mutuelle to reimburse it.
No prescription yet? Call us: we will explain the process.
How much does it cost?
Mina Care is INAMI-contracted and approved by the mutuelles: we charge the official rates, and your nursing care is reimbursed by your mutuelle. If part of the cost remains for you to pay, we tell you before the first visit.
What time do you visit?
We agree on visit times together, 7 days a week, taking into account any care that must be given at a fixed time.

Frequently asked questions about home nursing care
We have answered the questions our patients ask us most often.
Do I need a prescription for home nursing care?
Yes, for most care. Your doctor's prescription specifies the care required and allows your mutuelle to reimburse it.
How long does a visit last?
It depends on the care: a few minutes for an injection, longer for an infusion or a complex dressing. We take the time needed.
Do you come at weekends?
Yes, we work 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Can you prepare my medication for the week?
Yes. We prepare the pill organiser from the prescription and check with you that the treatment is being taken correctly.
I'm being discharged from hospital. Can you take over?
Yes. Show us your discharge prescriptions: we organise the care from the moment you get home.
